Finally, my long-cherished dream came true: The photo-tour to Istanbul ! is open! it will take place in the perfect time of the year for this kind of tour – the fall. We will combine the visits to the most interesting places in the city for photographers and the amazing history of the cultural capital of modern Turkey. We will shoot the Blue Mosque at dawn when there are no tourists there yet, watch the fishing schooners unloading fish at the market, go through the narrow streets of the old quarter and visit the places that no tourists go to. During the week, we will seek for the photo stories, learn to how process footage and enjoy the most delicious food in the Middle East.
Although this trip is announced as the “photo-tour,” if you are not a photographer, it will be just as interesting for you. The main difference between this tour of all the other trips to Istanbul is that we’ll be walking a lot (!), visiting places that are not included in any “bus tour” and will not be intercepting much with the main tourist flow.
